Last weekend Kathryn and I jetted out to LA to visit some of our stores, have a number of production meetings, and most importantly visit our good friend Kate, who recently moved from NYC back to LA.

We had the best time strolling through Venice with Kate, celebrating her birthday, and visiting with left-coast friends (including our brother, Alex, down from SF for the weekend!), who we don’t get to see enough:

In addition to visiting & exploring & a slew of business meetings, Kathyrn and I got to visit two of our favorite retailers: Ten Over Six on Melrose and Jenni Kayne in West Hollywood and in the Brentwood Country Mart:

One of the best parts of our trip West was spending Saturday boating with Alex and his friends in Newport. The company, weather, and scenery was epic. I could get used to this:
