is upon us…

The beauty & exceptionality of my dear friends Jenny (remember, she made pasta here & partied in Paris with us here) & Joe’s wedding last weekend is still sinking in.
What a treat to be on the beach for 4 days with a slew of old friends (and some pretty rad new ones), a truly awesome couple, and an endless stream of pina coladas & dirty bananas.
Everything from the weather (perfect) to the reception (under a massive tree and also perfect) was flawless, and it’s made returning to our Chinatown-studio, and upcoming office move (!), something of a harsh reality.
Playing dress up and partying with the best friends you once attended high school dances with is a blast… Our dresses and venues have changed (largely for the better), but we’re still having a ridiculously good time together:
Speaking of ridiculously good, Phillip Lim did a seriously awesome job with Jenny’s (and her bridesmaids) dresses. And he looked pretty charming himself:
Congratulations to the coolest couple & thank you for a wonderful weekend.
I miss you Jamaica!
The Lizzie Fortunato online store is OFFICIALLY up and running!
We couldn’t be happier with the awesomely-navigable and beautifully-designed web store (courtesy of the incredible Linseed Projects) and the stunning layouts (thank you to Lauren Festine!)
In addition to different product views and a “Lizzie Suggests” column for each product (yes, I did go comb through our merch and personally select all those suggestions!); we’ve also written “Notes From the Studio” for every style. All of our pieces have such a story — from the origin of their materials to the development of their silhouette, to the emergence of their names — that we treasure and are excited to share with you:

NOTES FROM THE STUDIO: THIS NECKLACE IS NAMED FOR FALLINGWATER, THE ARCHITECTURAL MASTERPIECE DESIGNED BY FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT IN 1935. THE RESIDENCE IS LISTED AMONG SMITHSONIAN'S LIST OF "28 PLACES TO VISIT BEFORE YOU DIE"
The aspect of the site I’m most excited about is FORTUNE FINDS, where we’ll offer treasures that we’ve collected from our travels, along with some favorite products that we just want to share. We’ve only begun this delightful marketplace, but keep your eye out for souvenirs from South America & India, and selections from guest ‘curators’ down the road…it’s going to be rad!
Happy Shopping & Thanks to everyone who made this thing come to life!

I adore Marina’s slideshows. How cool is this Sergio Rossi lily for your neck? And my favorite Jen Kao earrings…
